Our process begins with a warm and personal consultation. Our goal is to understand your family's specific requirements (family values, routine, parenting style, schedule and so on)...
We then begin a targeted search on your behalf, we will seek out and speak to qualified candidates. We share insights about your family to identify dedicated caregivers who align perfectly with your needs.
After we carefully select suitable candidates, we conduct a thorough review process that includes:
- Comprehensive background checks
- Verification of professional experience
- In-depth interviews, where we intentionally pick the most suitable candidates for your family
Finally, in the offer stage, we present our selected candidates, giving you the confidence that you're making the best choice for your family and ensuring you have the perfect nanny. After you select your candidates here are the next steps we help out with:
- Assisting in coordinating interviews with chosen candidates
- Assisting in coordinating trial day(s)

My journey into childcare began in Tanzania, where I was born, and continued in Kenya, where I grew up in a British boarding school. My mother’s career took us around the globe whether in Sudan, Australia, Timor, Lebanon, Singapore, or Thailand. I was always surrounded by vibrant communitie
Hello, I'm Elma, the founder of Elle Is My Nanny.
My journey into childcare began in Tanzania, where I was born, and continued in Kenya, where I grew up in a British boarding school. My mother’s career took us around the globe whether in Sudan, Australia, Timor, Lebanon, Singapore, or Thailand. I was always surrounded by vibrant communities, especially among young children. These early experiences ignited my passion for nurturing and supporting families.
Over the past decade, I have dedicated myself to the care and education of children. For five of those years, I served as a Montessori teacher, working with infants as young as eight weeks to toddlers up to 15 months. During this time, I learned the profound significance of early childhood development and the unique care each child requires to flourish. Transitioning to being a nanny allowed me to create deeper connections and provide a more intimate, supportive environment tailored to each child's individual needs.
My personal journey into motherhood opened my eyes to the challenges many women face during pregnancy and postpartum. Having navigated those waters myself with minimal understanding and support, I felt a strong calling to become a birth and postpartum doula. I witnessed firsthand the importance of compassionate assistance during these transformative times, and I wanted to ensure that more families have access to the support they deserve.
In my work with various families, particularly those with special needs children, I have learned the importance of being fully present and advocating for each child's unique needs. This experience inspired me to establish this agency, one that intentionally vets caregivers who are genuinely invested in the well-being of families. I want to create a space where caregivers are not only seen and valued but also supported in the incredible work they do.
I know firsthand the often-overlooked, hard work that goes into caregiving. That’s why my agency is committed to ensuring that every caregiver we bring on board knows they have a safe space here, surrounded by encouragement and appreciation. Together, we can create an environment where families and caregivers thrive.
