How Our Fees Work
A non-refundable $500 search fee is required to begin the nanny search process.

Placement Fee: 25% of Annual Nanny Compensation
When you hire a nanny through Elle Is My Nanny, our placement fee is 25% of the nanny's anticipated gross compensation for the first 12 months.

Placement Guarantee
We want your placement to be successful. If the employment relationship ends during the first 21 days because the nanny is not the right fit, we will provide a replacement search at no additional placement fee.
The original search fee remains non-refundable. The guarantee applies only when the family has fulfilled its payment, communication, and employment obligations. Additional terms and exclusions may apply.
This placement fee is based on minimum schedule of 21 hours per week. We do not accept placement requests for schedules below 21 hours per week. Families needing fewer that 21 hours may be referred to our date-night or occasional-sitter services, subject to availability.
This placement fee is due upon acceptance of a candidate and before nanny begins employment. The nanny's wages, payroll taxes, benefits, and other employment costs are paid separately by the family.

All of our nannies undergo rigorous screening, including background checks, work history verification, references verification, and interviews. Many nannies we vet out have formal training in childcare, CPR, and first aid, as well as experience working with children of various ages. We also offer ongoing nanny assistance to ensure they remain up-to-date with best practices.

No, Elle Is My Nanny does not handle payment for nannies. Our role is to serve as a bridge between families and nannies. Once you select a nanny, your family will be responsible for paying the nanny their agreed-upon hourly rate directly. This arrangement allows for clear communication regarding payment terms and ensures that both parties are on the same page.
